Matt Tahsini, MD

Dr. Matt Tahsini is a board-certified physician providing comprehensive outpatient Family care to patients of all ages at Torrance Family Family Care. Before developing his practice at Torrance Family Care, Dr. Tahsini served as a family physician at several different area practices, while also receiving clinical experience at Johnson Memorial Hospital and Methodist Occupational Health Center.

Dr. Tahsini graduated with his medical degree from Shiraz University of Medical Science in Iran, before coming to the US for his postgraduate training. Upon his arrival, Dr. Tahsini completed internship and residency training in Family medicine at Indiana University and Perdue University, as well as a fellowship in Transcranial Doppler Blood Flow Monitoring at the UCLA Department of Neurosurgery.

While in Iran, Dr. Tahsini served as a Medical Director at Tehran General Hospital, Nour Tehran Clinic, where he treated patients and managed medical clinics on Khurk Island.



In addition to his practice experience, Dr. Tahsini is also a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine. He also served as a Research Associated at the UCLADivision of Neurosurgery where he participated in a wide range of patient research projects.



Dr. Tahsini is fluent in English and Farsi.
